Food, A Passion
We pride ourselves on the food we are able to serve our guests. For us, food is a sensual passion. The aromas of toasting spices, the visual feast of shape and colour, the variations in texture and of course, the explosion of taste.
Quality ingredients are essential but so too is providence and sustainability. We source and buy local produce whenever possible and do our utmost to reduce waste.
We prepare and cook only what we intend to eat, to that end, with a maximum of four guests, we do not provide an a la carte menu. Instead we offer a set menu of either a gourmet meal or daily special dependant upon the choice of the guests.

Breakfast
The highlight of Breakfast is the beverage. We offer freshly ground and brewed coffee. Nothing beats the aroma of coffee percolating in the morning. A perfect way to wake up. Of course we also have an abundance of tea, particularly 'proper' English Breakfast tea and refreshing, freshly squeezed orange juice.
These are accompanied by whatever you fancy, from pancakes to muesli, fresh fruit to bagels, eggs cooked any which way with, smoked salmon, ham or cheese. Naturally, in rural France breakfast would not be complete without bread and pastries from the local boulangerie, accompanied with a spoonful (or two) of homemade marmalade.
You can enjoy the start of the day at the breakfast bar in the kitchen, at the table in the dining room, in the sunshine by the pool or in the shade on the veranda. You can even have coffee and juice served to you in the hot tub, whilst watching the surrounding countryside wake up.
Breakfast is served at a time to suit you.

Lunch
Lunch is an optional extra prepared to order.
Anything from a plate of sandwiches or bowl of soup, to a collection of Italian antipasti or a quiche.
It can be taken by the pool, on the veranda or indoors. It can even be prepared as a picnic to go, to be enjoyed close-by in the stunning 'Gorges du Goron' or further afield on the coast.

Dinner
Should you wish to dine with us, we offer a multi course set menu du jour. This gourmet option begins with cocktails around seven, followed by an entrée or antipasti, main dish or dishes, cheese and desert. Guaranteed to be a sensual experience, it includes wine pairings and a digestive (or whisky). It can be enjoyed at a formal table, in a romantic setting or even with a movie in the cinema.
A beautiful evening well worth indulging in.
We have a collection of new menus for the '24 season.
